Lunar New Year ( also known as Tet Nguyen Dan) is one of the most important festiaval of Vietnamese people. Every year, Tet is celebrated on the 1st of January according to the Lunar calendar in Vietnamand in some other countries wher the Vietnamese community lives.
Vietnamese culture - belonging to wet rice agriculture civilization - due to the need for agriculture cultivation, the time in a year into 24 different periods (and for each period, there is a “transitional time”).
